He's the only realtor I know who talks about transactions transparently with his clients; he's willing to say exactly what's going on with a transaction and what's next as opposed to "It's all going great. I got this all worked out for you." He recounted particulars of conversations with seller agents, dealings with the title company, inspections, appraisals, and potential obstacles. Lot's of details. No spin.Not every realtor can double as a quasi home inspector. On every walkthrough, Scott was looking for issues and bringing them to our attention. There was a lot of "If you buy this house, you may want to look into X because of Y. If you see here, there is A, B, C, which is evidence of or could mean D, E, F". Our actual inspector even said something like "I always like dealing with Scott. All these other realtors know the market, etc., but Scott actually knows houses too, and I don't see that very often."If I had to describe Scott's work in one word, it would be "earnest".
